Who does The Stadter Center provide services
to?
We provide services to adolescents (ages 13-18) and
adults (ages 18 and over). Children between the ages
of 10-12 can be screened on an individual basis to determine
appropriateness for participation in the program as
well.
Who can refer a patient to The Stadter Center?
Anyone can refer a person to The Stadter Center, including
family member, therapist, doctor, friend, teacher/school
administrator and clergy. Click

How many psychiatrists are on staff?
We have 6 primary psychiatrists who provide care to
patients.
What methods of payment does The Stadter Center
accept?
We accept any health insurance plan, including Blue
Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid and self-pay.
Does The Stadter Center provide schooling to
school-age patients?
Yes, the Grand Forks Public School District provides
academic programming to all school-age patients. A licensed
teacher and paraprofessional in classrooms in the hospital
teach classes.
Are the different populations separated?
Yes, the adolescent areas and adult areas are independent
of each other and are separated by locked doors.
How often is staff with the patients?
Our staff is with patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week, 365 days a year.
Who is allowed to visit patients besides family
members?
Generally, a patient's clergy and therapist are permitted
to visit. Other people may be allowed to visit if approved
within a patient's treatment plan.
Can a patient leave the hospital during his/her
stay?
Yes, a patient may receive a pass to leave the hospital
for a short period of time if approved to do so within
the patient's treatment plan.
